In the last chapter of Sulemain's proverbs, the sub title of Nobel Character of a Wife, he set with a very high standard over average of a woman. She should be categorized as a super woman. I noted some criterias such as : She is worth far more than rubies, work with eager hands. She gets up while it is dark, She provides foods for her family, She open her arm to the poor.
In the last verses Suleman concluded that woman charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but woman who fear God to be praised.
It was not easy to find such high standard criteria as Sulaeman - who had 1.000 wifes - . But what he really mean was not the beauty of a woman to be taken to account, but woman who fear God, respect, appreciate, please God. Everybody who fear God will always done the right things and avoid doing the bad thing in life.
In other version we accustom to hear that Fear God is a source of Knowledge and Wisdom. These two rewards - Knowledge to know the good and bad and Wisdom - will be given to whom fear of God. At the end, the people who fear God will result in positive future life.
In the beginning, I confused to understand what is the meaning of the theme "Beautiful wife" in conjunction to Thanks giving services in Mr.Gunawan Situmorang, in their home at Bekasi, west Java, bordered East Jakarta at May 13, 2010. These young couple with 2 small children inaugurated his wife birthday, God's company when he was unemployed for 5 months and new house funding from pension fund of previous job.
The preacher Pdt.Guruh Jatmiko lead the sermon and our choir Sangkakala singing "Ucap syukur" fluently without rehearsal by Elly. They invited around 50 friends and families as well.
We are glad to see these new couple surrender their live, their future to God.
I wasn't realized then, previously, 3 days before this event,I had written a poem concerning the black beautiful of my own grandchild, Antonia Jones, referred to the same verses, Soleman's king wisdom at the last chapter 31, especially a sentence You are more beautiful then rubies as follows:
BLACK BEAUTIFUL
As awesome as your name, Antonia
You are more beauty than rubies
As dark as you are as black as your curly hair
You are unique created
A woman who fears God
A truly beauty inside
You extend your hand to the needy
You speak wisdom and no curse
Yet faithfulness with patience
Smile, joke with you around
Just as the dark of your beauty
From the very beginning
Love you as undonditional
