More jobs are to go in Somerset as defence firm AgustaWestland today announces that it will lay off 375 workers.
How many of those 375 job losses will be compulsory redundancies is as yet unknown.
The company, which employs nearly 3,600 workers in the UK, mostly at its Yeovil factory, has said that it will be mostly corporate and management roles affected rather than engineers.
Coming on top of redundancies already announced in the region by BAE Systems and RNAS Yeovilton, it's yet more awful news for the Somerset worker.
