Clueless Clegg is at it again, trotting out what seems to be his favourite catchphrase of the year, "too male and too pale".
This time it was the audience of the Cheltenham Literary Festival who benefitted from his wisdom. We're sure they lapped it up, it was probably the highlight of the literary year to learn that the Liberal Democrats are too male and too pale.
It really seems to be becoming a theme for Nick Clegg, everything is too male and too pale.
Is he looking in the mirror and finally admitting what the public really thinks of him, but can't really bring himself to admit that it isn't too male, it isn't too pale, that's the problem, it's just him?
We'll tell you what though Nick, we're giving like that, let us help you out.
Quit. Resign now. That in itself would boost your popularity no end, it'd be the first good thing you've done in a long time.
Let someone who is not pale and not male have your job.
In fact, promise never to work in any public office or important post again, it's only fair you lead by example and clear the way for an ethnic minority female.

Like all the others banging on about the need to promote minority, for them to be more represented, you'll just initiate the changes, but make sure it's never you loses out to this new discrimination.
If it's not one of those lefty, diversity worshipping catchphrases then lead the way Nick, off you go, make way for whatever tickbox combination of minorities leader the Lib Dems have to hand.
Surely you've a black, Muslim, one legged, transsexual 'woman' in the ranks who would fit the bill perfectly, it's not fair you're holding her back by remaining as leader.
Just think of the headlines Lib Dem could grab Nick, you could be responsible for giving us our first Deputy Prime Minister who ticks every box there is going.
