USA: 32 Arrested At Occupy Des Moines - Including An 80 Year-Old Grandmother
Posted by barongan at 3:38 PMThe 32 were an off-shoot of about 200 protesters, who gathered across the street from the capitol grounds and chanted “Don’t arrest them!” at police, according to The Des Moines Register. One man was even pepper-sprayed after being placed in handcuffs, according to a post on the Occupy Iowa Facebook page. Police also scuffled with a man over a camera that was used to photograph the scene, they said.
