Just four months after he arrived in Britain, Iraqi Asylum seeker Salman Ahmed took part in a brutal gang rape on a 23 year old woman.
Ahmed, 17, and an accomplice who has yet to be tracked down, repeatedly raped their victim, taking it in turns to hold her down.
Both attackers laughed as they attacked her, and told her that she had made them happy.
"That was not enough for you. Both of you then raped her again, each assisting the other to do so....You were clearly laughing as you were enjoying the humiliation, the pain and harm you were inflicting upon her" said Judge Anthony King.
Ahmed was sentenced to five years and three months in a young offenders institution, and told that he would be deported upon serving his sentence.
A lot of comfort that is to his victim, another in the long list of those fallen prey to foreign sex offenders, a victim who need never have been if only we didn't let everyone in to Britain.
Recent figures have revealed the terrifying extent of the problem, with 32% of rapes in the Met area, and 29% of those in Leicestershire, committed by foreign nationals.
Even relatively unenriched Somerset saw just over 20% of those charged with rape by Avon and Somerset Constabulary being foreign nationals.
Rape is an horrendous crime which ruins lives. Clearly we are importing a large percentage of the attacks taking place in the UK, and adding yet more names to the ever growing list of victims.
The figures speak for themselves. When are the victims rights to be protected from becoming a victim going to be taken into account, when are we going to realise that the price of letting everybody in to our country is far too high?
