In the aftermath of the horrendous riots which blighted Britain, it has emerged that people from 44 different countries have so far been jailed for offences ranging from burglary to robbery to criminal damage.

Around 14% of those jailed were born abroad, although the true figure may well be higher as it is said 4% of those remanded in custody would not tell police their nationality.

Of course, bear in mind that these figures just represent born abroad, and not ethnicity as a whole since those born here would not be counted.

The numbers will undoubtedly increase as police investigations are continuing and further arrests are inevitable.

Jamaicans, Somalians and Polish topped the list of those jailed, with showings from places as far flung as Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Vietnam and Iraq.

Truly multiculturalism in action, the open borders brigade should pat themselves on the back at how wonderfully diverse these riots were, it seems many foreigners needed little help in integrating into criminality.

Official responses?

Damian Green, Immigration Minister, says that "Foreign nationals who were convicted of offences during the riots will be returned home wherever possible".

Wherever possible is a horrible caveat, it means most will end up staying after countless appeals and human rights cases no doubt.

Tom Brake, home affairs spokesman for the Liberal Democrats, sets the tone by telling us that we must exercise caution in seeking to deport those who have a family here.

Perhaps they should have exercised caution before getting involved in criminality and rioting, and obeyed the law of this land, if their family life mattered so much to them eh Tom?

Still, here we are, our cities smouldering, foreigners making up a significant proportion of the rioters so far jailed, and all of us know that most will never be deported.

What a triumph for the multicultural ideal, and what a disaster for Britain. As the hand wringing and excuses continue, one thing is almost certain - worse is yet to come.

Police have today released the names and photos of 14 violent foreign criminals who are believed to be in the UK. The release is part of Operation Sunfire.

In an uplifiting roll call which many might consider a summary of Britains enrichment, we find the following names and offences on the list.

From left to right in the image (click to enlarge) :

Dariusz Hanusiak - Murder. Wanted for beating and stabbing a victim who subsequently died from injuries sustained.

Ian Bobocel - Robbery. Hit a man in the back of the head with a blunt object, then stole his belongings.

Dane Charles Vidgen - GBH. Caused serious injuries when he attacked a man with a glass bottle.

Michal Smolen - GBH. Jointly with another man beat their victim causing serious head and body injuries.

Mehmoud Farah - Rape. Raped a man whilst threatening him with a knife.

Dariusz Glowacki - Rape. Raped a minor.

Ndrieim Sadushi - Murder. Is wanted in connection with 3 murders and an attempted murder in Albania.

Wojciech Glowacki - Rape. Raped a minor, and is wanted in connection with two sexual assaults on minors.

Dominik Witczak - GBH. Stabbed his victim in the leg.

Tato Kakauridze - Murder. Stabbed his victim after an argument.

Adrian Vasilescu - GBH. Cut his victims throat with a beer bottle. Is believed to be in the Manor Park/E12 area.

Ioan Cretu - Murder. Struck victim on the head, and victim died of injuries sustained.

Radoslaw Nkaye - Robbery. Beat his victim with a metal club before robbing the victim.

Costin Stoica - Robbery. Victim was sprayed in the face with a noxious substance before her handbag was stolen.

Police have urged anyone with any information on these mens whereabouts to contact Crimestoppers.

Many are believed to have entered Britain legally before arrest warrants were issued for them.

Welcome to modern Britain, magnet for criminals from the world over. How lucky we are to be so enriched eh?

Totnes has become the latest place in the South West to benefit from the attentions of an imported crimewave, as police detain a Romanian gang in relation to a number of high value shoplifting incidents.

Two of the gang were apprehended following a chase at Morrisons supermarket after security guards saw them acting suspiciously with rucksacks.

Later two more arrests were made and police recovered large quantities of alcohol - estimated to be worth in the region of £1,000 - from a car outside of the supermarket.

Police believe that this is not the first time that the Morrisons store in Totnes has been targeted by organised criminals seeking to steal alcohol.

Authorities also think that other supermarkets across the South West may have been targeted by organised shoplifting gangs.

All four arrested men gave addresses in the West Midlands, and have been given bail until November. They are yet to be charged.

It's interesting to note that the UK has seen an explosion in the number of crimes committed by EU nationals in recent years, trebling since just 2007.

On the Home Offices 'league table' of EU offenders, Romania ranked in second place, beaten only by Poland.

As the foreign crime tsunami continues the South West will not be spared.

We hear a lot about the free movement of labour, but today we learn another reality, that with the EU also comes free movement of crime - the number of EU citizens convicted of crimes in Britain has all but trebled in the space of several years.

From 10,736 EU nationals convicted of crimes in 2007, we hit 27,563 in 2010. This year already looks on course to exceed that by many thousands.

Even worse, we're also failing to remove them from the country once they are convicted of crimes - 2010 saw 27,563 convictions, and a miniscule 1,480 people removed from the UK.

Topping the list of EU offenders are the those from the Eastern European states - Poland, Romania, and Lithuania.

Close on thirty thousand convictions in one year - ain't enrichment brilliant, and bear in mind that those figures are only for convictions of EU nationals, factor in those criminals from outside of the EU and the imported crimewave we stagger under is enormous.

The total number of EU citizens convicted of crimes since 2007? 109,568.

Again, bear in mind that is just convictions, we all know that many crimes are committed from which no conviction results.

Our jails are overcrowded, our police and courts system are overstretched, and we keep adding to the burden which they have to bear.

Britains enrichment, both from within and without the EU, comes at a terribly high price in crime and the costs of dealing with that crime.

Proper crime prevention should begin at our borders - and, sadly, it seems we have very little in the way of borders left, and no chance of throwing out most criminals once they are here.

Expect things to get a lot worse, the foreign crimewave will continue until we take back control of our borders.
