Police are hunting a man after a 19 year old woman was sexually assaulted in the early hours of Sunday morning after leaving the Okoko nightclub on Taunton's Bridge street.
The attack took place in Goodlands Gardens after the woman had left the club.
Police are currently keen to speak to anyone approached by a man of Asian appearance, of medium height and clean shaven, and wearing a short sleeved blue shirt who was in the area at the time.
The only description which the victim has so far provided to police is that her assailant was a man of Asian appearance.
She had left the Okoko at approximately 2am and walked alone across the bridge, and reached Goodlands Gardens where she was subjected to a serious sexual assault.

Police in Cornwall have appealed for information after a 19 year old woman was sexually assaulted in Launceston.
The attack took place in the Newport area of Launceston at around 2am on Tuesday. It is believed that the man followed her into Broad Park before attacking her.
Her attacker is described as of 'East Asian' appearance and of a stocky build. He was wearing a trousers, a jacket and a hat, and distinctive white flip flops with a Brazilian flag on the strap.

"It may be that many people, especially women, will see that as ridiculously lenient" - Judge Beverley Lunt, sentencing sex attacker Shamraz Akhtar to community service and a suspended prison sentence, citing sentencing guidelines specifying a community order.
Shamraz Akhtar had attacked a woman who got into his taxi, groping her and asking if she wanted to pay for her fare with sex.
He had claimed that he had been aroused because the victim was scantily dressed.
During her ordeal, as well as touching her and making lewd suggestions, he also drove her in the wrong direction for her destination, leaving her terrified.
Her ordeal ended when the cab slowed down and she jumped from the vehicle.
Akhtar, married with 2 children, was given 26 weeks in jail, suspended for 2 years, and 120 hours community service at Burnley Crown Court.
In other words, he walked free.
No comment to make, the judges remark says it all. So much for being tough on crime, even when we catch the criminals they're right back on the street.
