In yet another story which seems to have received next to no exposure in the controlled media it appears that the murderer of Kriss Donald is seeking compensation from the Scottish government and prison authorities over claims that being held in segregation breached his human rights.
Imran "baldy" Shahid who was jailed for life in 2006 for murdering 15 year old Kriss Donald, who was abducted, tortured, stabbed, and set on fire whilst still alive simply for being white.
Prison chiefs say that Shahid was placed in segregation for his own protection. Although the media may well have not given Kriss or his killers anything like the attention given to the Stephen Lawrence case, it seems that other prison inmates, disgusted by the brutal crime, were eager to deal out their own brand of justice to the racist killer if the chance arose.
Shahid had initially claimed £6,000 - saying that as a result of his segregation he has suffered from low self esteem, sleep problems, and anxiety. As well as this, he also claims to have been barred upon some occasions from attending Muslim Friday prayers. Despite initially claiming £6,000 he now accepts he may receive as little as £500 apparently.
Pursued with legal aid, Shahids case has already cost the taxpayer thousands in lawyers fees.
One is sure that everyones hearts bleed for this poor mans rights, especially since he and his accomplices were so considerate of other peoples rights, like for example those of poor victim Kriss Donald.
Since Shahid has raised this point about his inhumane treatment, it really is only fair that we listen and make sure that his feelings are no longer hurt by being segregated.
For once, let's give him what he wants. Put him - along with his fellow Muslim murderers Zeeshan "Crazy" Shahid and Mohammed "Becks" Mushtaq - back into the general prison population. In separate prisons of course.
Hand pick their cell mates, ensuring that the maximum of cultural exchange can take place by making sure they are not bunking with other Muslims. There are probably many among the underworld of Scottish gangsters who would be only too keen to jump at this chance for enrichment.
Then, they can "interact" away until their hearts are content. Shahid should thank us for showing such concern for his human rights.
