Shabbaz Hussain, 27, is appearing in court today charged with raising funds for Islamic terrorism.
Hussain, of Jamaica Street, East London, faces five charges under the Terrorism Act.
He will appear before Westminster Magistrates Court today.
Three offences relate to 2010, when it is said that on April 12, July 6, and Sept 3, he provided money or property for the purposes of terrorism.
Another offence is between January 2009 and October 2010 he made arrangements for the funding of terrorism.
Finally, between the same dates, that he engaged in conduct with the intention of committing terrorism, or of helping others to engage in an act of terrorism.
Information is sketchy, but it is not believed that the acts of terrorism were targeted at the UK.
That's okay then. Welcome to modern Britain, a veritable Mecca for terrorists the world over. Whether they are targeting us, or using us a base to target other nations, here they will find a home and a safe base of operations.
