Nominations are now open for the post of Chairman of the British National Party. This follows the adoption of Motion One at the General Members’ Meeting held on Sunday 26 June 2011.

The nomination form can be found here. Completed nominations must be received by noon on Monday 4 July 2011, accompanied by a deposit of £500 in cash or banker's draft payable to “British National Party”.

The Chairman will be elected for a fixed period of four years.

Geoff Dickens, East Midlands Regional Organiser, is the Returning Officer.

For the duration of the election period, from the last Monday in June until the fourth Monday in July, candidates must observe the election rules as detailed in the constitution.
