Upon discovering that she was pregnant, Nigerian Bimbo Ayelabola did exactly what everyone the world over is doing these days - hopped on the first plane to Britain and left us all to foot the bill.
Pregant with not one but five children after taking high doses of fertility drugs, she all but got off the plane and presented herself at hospital, burdening the NHS with the cost of all her treatment, and that of her newborn children.
Despite having only a visitors visa, she somehow managed to land herself and her family a 2 bedroom flat in East London as well. Her husband, who visited, allegedly immediately legged it back to Nigeria when confronted with the responsibility of raising the large family.
Bimbo, 33, now says she faces being homeless if she returns to Nigeria, and has applied for an extension to her visa because her children are 'too fragile' to return home.
Anybody want to bet on just exactly how this story will pan out, especially considering it seems she already has an immigration lawyer arguing that she should stay here?
If you put your cash on anything other than her and her brood still being here in a decades time, still safely ensconced in a council flat, and still with everything being paid for courtesy of the British taxpayer then I think you just backed a looser.
A spokesman for the Home Office said that "The NHS is a national health service not an international one. We expect those with no rights to be in the UK to leave otherwise we will remove them" and apparently kept a straight face whilst doing so, although probably had their fingers crossed.
She'll not pay back one penny, she'll and her family will be rewarded for landing here to deliberately exploit the NHS. They already have been rewarded, and will be in future. We all know exactly how things will turn out, and that will be with Bimbo and her bundles of joy being given indefinite leave to remain.
Probably, at some point in the future, her feckless husband who did a runner upon learning of his children will jet over, join her, and get leave to remain also. After all, it would be against his human rights to deny him those child benefit cheques.
Worse still, it's all so commonplace now that this only made the news because she gave birth to quintuplets. Every day hospitals up and down Britain witness the same and it is just shrugged off as one of those things. By no accident are some hospitals seeing a far higher number of births to foreign mothers than British mothers.
It's no wonder we're broke and colonised, everyone knows that the entire UK is there to be exploited and that nobody will do a damn thing about it.
