Mad red Ken Livingstone, apologist for Islam and all round crank who manages to put his foot in his mouth nearly every time he speaks, is apparently the new Winston Churchill, at least according to himself.

In an interview with Total Politics red Ken compares his struggle to win back City Hall from Boris Johnson to "the great struggle between Hitler and Churchill".

We're sure millions of dead civilians and soldiers really appreciate the analogy Ken.

He goes on to portray next years mayoral race as a "simple choice between good and evil" and says that it has not been so clear "since the great struggle between Hitler and Churchill".

Amazing how egotistical some of these politicians can be, especially those on the left, those for whom red is an understatement.

By inference from Kens comments, not voting for Ken would make someone evil, and since one presumes Ken isn't likening himself to Hitler, also a Nazi?

Very nice. Joke or not, that's pretty illustrative of how these rabid lefties see things - good vs evil, they are the only true voice, all else is evil.

Fop Boris, well, we can agree that he should have stuck to appearances on Have I Got News For You where at least we could chuckle at his buffoonery, but Adolf Hitler he is not.

Nor Ken are you a Churchill. One thinks, just for starters, your views on Islam may be somewhat radically different, and one doubts Churchill would savour the nation you and your ilk have had a major hand in creating.

A more apt comparison perhaps would be to describe the mayoral race as a battle between a Quisling and Ernie, the great struggle between treachery and Sesame Street.

Neither of you are up to much, there's no great struggle, it's just the idiot undesirable going head to head with the unwanted moron.
