Honest guv'nor I am a reformed terrorist, I've changed my mind, I was wrong. I was involved in plots to kill EU citizens and bring terror to nations in the name of Islam, but wow, Mohammed spoke to me and how wrong I was. I am a peaceful Muslim now, the religion of peace and all that, flowers blossom where I walk instead of mushroom clouds.

So, please give me bail, I promise I am a reformed character, I love the kuffar, instead of plotting bombings I shall instead plot to bring my love, and the love of the prophet, to England.

Some babble of that ilk is good enough for a judge apparently, since Justice Mitting has decided to grant an Algerian whom Britain is seeking to deport bail on the strength of such pleadings.

The Algerian - referred to only as "U" - is believed by MI5 to have direct links to recent fishfood Osama Bin Laden, as well as groups who have plotted attacks on Strasbourg Cathedral and Los Angeles Airport.

"U" is believed to be the head of a group of terrorists within the UK who are said to have an "international reach".

Since arriving in the UK in 1999, he was detained in 2001 - and has either been in prison or under house arrest since then. But not any more.

Thanks to Justice Mitting he is now back on our streets and living with a friend.

Allah must have moved hearts in mysterious ways to secure that verdict, amazng what a penitent letter can achieve.

"I am conscious, of course, that it may all be for show. But if it is for show, it has been the work of a highly-skilled actor" said Justice Mitting after awarding "U" bail.

If all terrorists foamed at the mouth and spouted hate every time they spoke then surely they'd be easy to detect? Acting is, of course, part of the terrorist lexicon - did the 7/7 bombers wave signs about proclaiming their intentions?

Justice Mitting is highly unlikely to be the one sat next to the bomb when it goes off, it's easy for him to take a chance on whether "U" is serious or is just a good actor seeking to further his own Islamist goals. Lying to the kuffar is permissable after all.

Why has it took since 2001 - and still not happened - to boot "U" out anyway? One suspects liberal, naive judges, as well as money hungry lawyers funded by the taxpayer, may well have played a major part.

Welcome to Britain, still buying the same old rhetoric and swallowing the same old lies even when the bombs have started going off.
