Gloucester

South West Regional Organiser Mike Howson visited Gloucester yesterday evening to visit, members, supporters and residents in the city.  During the visit he learnt first hand about the disruption caused by the riots that affected the Bristol and Gloucester areas of the West Country.

Julie L, the Gloucestershire Organiser outlined her strategy for the coming campaign season, and the need to combine political and direct action.

The Gloucester Organiser and his team are keen and ready to move forward with plans and  support for groups in Tewkesbuty and Cheltenham.

Gloucester can be regarded as a front line city, with a large immigrant population, supported by a hostile (to indigenous people) local government.

It has been decided that Gloucester members and residents will form COP's units to work with the police and protect their local areas.  These join other units already formed in Salisbury, Bournemouth and Chippenham together with units forming in Bristol.

Working on the principle of whats good for the goose is good for the gander!

The COP programme is designed to carry out the same functions as the Shomrim, and CST, as well as the Sikh defenders.
