The best part of a week has elapsed since THAT BOOKLET dropped onto doormats the length and breadth of the land. You would have imagined, would you not, that the so-called leadership of this party of OURS would have by now LOUDLY AND CLEARLY denied each and every one of the damaging accusations made in that document?

But they haven’t – what are we to make of that?

Whilst they have loudly and clearly labelled it “disgusting” and “illegal” they have not, as far as we are aware, either explained why it is “disgusting” or why it is “illegal”.

This leads us directly to Nick Griffin’s, quite frankly bizarre, election promotional video (posted elsewhere on this site) – which centred on the booklet yet made not the slightest attempt to address the many issues raised in it.

We neither expect nor want a display of rage, pique, contempt or self-pity from our party chairman – what we do expect and want is a refutation of every single accusation detailed in that allegedly “disgusting”, “illegal”, “smear” publication.

As we have previously stated on this site NOTHING LESS WILL SUFFICE.

In the continuing absence of a rational, logical and comprehensive rebuttal of the accusations made, is it any wonder that southwest members are drawing their own conclusions?

Furthermore, for the record, we have no intention of letting this issue rest.

We intend, figuratively speaking, hanging this booklet around Nick Griffin’s neck, in much the same way as the albatross hung around the neck of Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s ancient mariner.

And it will remain there until such times as Nick Griffin LOUDLY and CLEARLY denies EACH and EVERY ONE of the allegations made.

OUR LONG SUFFERING MEMBERSHIP DESERVES NOTHING LESS.
