At last, we have the proof, Dhimmi Dave Cameron has a lot of public backing over his ill thought out actions around the hacking scandal, or Murdochgate as many are now calling it.

Don't believe us? It's true.

In a matter of hours bookmakers Ladbrokes slashed the odds of Cameron resigning from office from 100/1 to 20/1 and now to 8/1.

The move comes as a lot of people are backing him at the bookies - to quit.

"This bears all the hallmarks of a massive public gamble. People up and down the land are queueing out of the door of our shops to back the PM to walk" said Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes.

Only Chris Huhne at 2/1 and Andrew Lansley at 6/1 are reckoned more likely to quit according to the bookmakers. Dismal Ken Clarke also weighs in at 8/1 and Vince Cable is at 10/1.

Even at 8/1 that has to be worth a flutter. A couple quid on that and, if Dhimmi Dave does go, there will be the beer money to celebrate the collapse of the confused debacle that has been ConDem.
